The South Australian Livestock Consultants' Livestock Advisor Update (SALC LAU) will be held again this year on the 15th of August 2019 at the Glenelg Golf Club! We’re preceding the LAU with a Networking Dinner on the 14th of August 2019 at the Moseley Bar and Kitchen.

This year we have added some exciting extra elements giving you value and choice when you attend, including: technical displays, concurrent sessions, a facilitated discussion with AWI and MLA on industry issues and opportunities, and an excellent dinner speaker.

The SALC LAU has been put together by the S.A. Livestock Consultants and welcomes advisors, producers, vets, researchers, university students, project managers, farming systems groups, and anyone else who has an interest in upskilling themselves in the latest in livestock research, development, tools, technology and extension support.

Technical Displays

This year we have a number of technical presentations and displays at the SALC LAU. There will be a chance to peruse the displays during breaks and in addition, there will also be a 40 minute session in which attendees will choose 4 displays to view. A bell will sound every 10 minutes to change to the next display. The displays will provide a presentation and chance for discussion during their 10 minutes and repeat- we like to call this technical display speed dating!
